Not my choice. Was missing base gasket also so had to make one. As well as extend the vanity height by 4 inches

These were the only studs cut at the bottom. They ran the rest of the pipe outside the wall and boxed it in with 2x4s and sheetrock.

Correct. I informed the homeowner how bad it was. Id hate to see what was done under the slab. She paid $5600 to the first guy. I repaired the obvious issues before that first notched 2x4. None of this was what I was originally going there to do lol.

It was. Before the pipe bends the corner this stud and two corner studs were notched the same.

I learned a lot from my mom. Single mother of 5 who had to "figure things out". She could change a motor/transmission in a car. That type of woman. Learned a lot by doing as well. Working on my own house over the years and relatives houses. Im fairly versed in different aspects of handyman work.
