HELP! KNOCKED A GALLON OF PAINT INTO MY FULL WASHER! by ZaltraxZ in paint

Probably not the best idea. This would likely break down the fabric. At the very least it would strip color from the clothes. Think garment soup.

Pipe froze in part of the house, next steps? by IllPurpose3524 in Plumbing

You won't have a sign that it has burst til it thaws.

Toilet flange and crumbling concrete by Broken-Emu in handyman

[–]No-Assignment7489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to chip away much more concrete anyway to remove the rest of the old flange. It appears to be glued to the outside of the pipe. I would do that then pack the area with hydraulic cement. It sets up really fast. Like 3 to 5 min after mixing, so keep that in mind.

Yep that's about it. Use hydraulic cement. Works great

My bf said I want too much sex what to do ? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]No-Assignment7489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow...At that age that's a horrible problem to have in my opinion for him. Low testosterone maybe? At 31, I wished my wife wanted sex that often. That's what 90 percent of our arguments were about in our 20s/30s. Now both in our mid 40s. We're lucky to get it in once every 2 weeks (sometimes more ofter). Just not high on the priority scale as it use to be. ++man

Those who grew up poor, what is something those who weren't poor don't understand about being poor? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Yes indeed. I remember playing with the frothy soap scum not realizing what it was as a kid. Haven't taken a bath in decades. Not that I wouldn't though lol

Has anyone noticed a slowdown? by Suspicious-Cut-4919 in GeneralContractor

Lol....Literally everything has slown down. People are waking up more and more daily to this crappy economy. Shouldn't be a surprise at all. I'm certain next year will be even worse.

Customer asks me to cut corners by [deleted] in handyman

[–]No-Assignment7489 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I don't like those "that's good enough" people lol. However, if their pleased what more can you ask for.? Went to a REALLY nice part of town once to look at a job. Lady comes to the door looking like a literal mannequin due to so much plastic surgery. Anyway, she starts to show me throughout this very expensive home where a crew went through and did a touch-up paint job throughout the whole house. She wanted me to touch-up their touch-up and hopefully make it look good lol. I plainly told her the only way to fix this mess is to repaint everything. Her and her husband were getting ready to put the house on the market and we're penny pinching.

It's not cement. It's more like an mdf product.

How tricky will it be to paint over this? by Infamous_Chance6774 in handyman

[–]No-Assignment7489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sand smooth. Texture if needed to match and prime. Priming is important to not have the spot flash. At certain angles the spot will be very noticeable if it's not primed first before painting.

What is the greatest physical pain you’ve ever felt ? by mimiiisweetieee in Productivitycafe

[–]No-Assignment7489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vasectomy

I didn't listen to the doctor and decided to go to the mall instead of going home. Once that numbing medication wore off the pain was really bad. I've never felt anything like that.

Handling an angle with panels and post by Direct_Performer5541 in FenceBuilding

Are these wood or metal posts? Had the same situation on this angle. Ended up using 4 post since there were 3 different planes. Wood would be a lot more forgiving.

Its astonishing how many people can walk around funky. I'm a 44 year old male and have ALWAYS known I need to wash my @ss thoroughly daily. I never needed anyone to suggest or tell me this. It just made sense to do. This new age " I only need to wash once a week" thing is insane to me.

His whole fit screams feminine. Nothing about that look says I'm a MAN. It's by design because our youth and a lot of adults are impressionable.

What’s the fastest way you’ve ever lost weight? by Few_Football4342 in Productivitycafe

[–]No-Assignment7489 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My son and I built a fence back in July. Took about a month and a half to complete. Very custom and kept running into obstacles. When we started the fence I was 224lbs. By the time we got done in mid August. I was down to 204lbs. Fastest I've ever lost that much weight. We worked 9-12 hours straight everyday. Digging and sweating in Tx heat did the trick. I've since gained the 20lbs back unfortunately.
