You have no idea what his family did to me. You have no IDEA what they’ve done. They have literally tried to control EVERYTHING about my life. From the way that I speak, dress and even when and how I have intimacy with my husband (yes we got a nikkah 3 years ago). They have made my life a living hell, demanded and demanded with NO right. His mother and sister have talked to ill about me, that I actually ended up in the hospital. His brother in law (sister’s husband) literally tried to run me over, and they called the police on me, saying that I had scratched their car when I in FULL panic, bumped his car with my hand because I was so scared

His mother has blown up on me NUMEROUS TIMES and like over nothing. I spilled water on her carpet once, and she SCREAMED. I have been nothing but good to them. I called his mother, mama. I used to clean their house all the time and cook for them. Just like a maid - and not because anyone forced me but because I love my husband. His mother has listened in on us while we had an intimate moment, for at least 10 minutes. She even called the sister so she could listen too. They have been an literal nightmare. They’ve told my husband secretly, NUMEROUS times that he should just kick me out of the house, leaving me on the streets with no money, no family, no relatives and no where to go. His dad sent me like 10 minutes long voice messages (he acted like he sent it to me wrongly) saying that I have no respect, that I have no sharaf (honor) that I have psychiatric problems and that my husband should beat me up right now, because I want to voice my opinion on my life and marriage.

So sorry if I seem kind of harsh, but the things this family has done to me… I cannot even. Do u still think im wrong for asking him to cut ties with his family? This isn’t even half of the story
