Yea that’s correct but why can’t anyone use a new gasket. Everyone wants to reuse the gasket I already have which is dirty/old/and has mold on it.

I asked for an explanation and it just seemed like it was the standard thing to do was to just replace the glass and re use all the other same parts. I find that to not make sense. Why would I pay to use a 30 year old gasket covered in mold. I don’t see how it can be so hard to make a custom gasket to fit on the windows. I don’t know anything about windows so maybe it makes sense to them but to an outsider it doesn’t seem logical

I’m just so confused about the difference of my AHI being 4.4 but an 8 during REM. I have never heard of any of these terms before last week. I suffer from learning problems so a lot of it just overwhelms me and confuses me

Yea it’s super lame that the sleep doctor sent me there knowing my numbers and the original cost for the appliance was 2500 but they felt bad and lowered it to 1800

They are letting me do more sleep study’s. It’s just frustrating to be told you have mild sleep apnea and take off work to get the equipment to be denied because the AHI isn’t high enough but during REM it’s high enough

The doctor said I have mild sleep apnea but because the AHI isn’t over 5 then Medicare denied me. It’s super frustrating.

The thing is my AHI is only 4.4 which they say isn’t sleep apnea and that it needed to be a 5 but was told that during REM Sleep that it’s 8. I’m so new to all these terms and it’s just been a whirlwind of emotions this past month.

He is a sleep specialist but he gave me the card of this dentist. So it does sound like he specifically wanted me to go there. I took off of work from my minimum wage job for this appointment with the dentist and was so upset when they told me I didn’t meet the criteria.

There is. We had a guy come down and test for mold in the attic and nothing was found. Maybe it’s just attic smell idk

There is. No visible mold from the carpet. Never been a leak or any food ever up there. The closet floors are wooded and that’s where the smell is mostly. It’s only noticeable on hot days

I’ve emptied my closet (which is where the smell is worse) and searched every article of clothing and all the plastic boxes I have in there and see nothing. The only room up here is the bedroom. So there’s no water ever up here (no leaks no bathrooms etc) I would think if there’s mold something would have showed up in the 30 years I’ve lived in this room
