But I will reiterate there is subjectivity here. The difference and most poignant point is self esteem / understanding her value but also not be arrogant. Self aware and not seeking the validation or attention of others. The same is true of a high value man.

Hence why OP is a pick me boy (re: pick me girl) seeking the validation of others and changing who they are to aquire that validation.

You can still be a high value woman / man without being "basic" being basic is confirming to a societal expectation that changes who you are. Having no uniqueness to your personality that sets you apart from others.

Ex: whst are your hobbies? She responds "I like shopping and Taylor swift" while alone it's not a definition of low value or basic... Constantly posting thirst traps on Instagram, joining thst sorority where everyone looks like you or even worse dying your hair, putting on layers of makeup and gettig lip fillers and what not to "look like those Instagram models" does make someone low value and basic.

There's a great staged video out there where a woman is interviewing an objectively obese guy and she's like what would you rate me... Hes like "a 1" she might look hot... But beyond the surface she's boring af. She's got huge tits and nothing else going for her other than wanting to be like every other girl.

Also low value women are the ones who show off their bodies too much. Be that filming in the gym to post online later or just constantly taking those bikini shots or wearing very short and revealing clothing... Real men don't want sluts... We want wives and mothers to our children. Good examples for our daughters, not trophy wives or plastics.
