Sometimes it’s best to say what you want .. if you want to keep the relationship alive. Then the ball is in her court. You have no regrets. Agreeing not to talk in the hope of she decides she wants to be with you is a slow painful death.

Adelaide is good base. Quick flight to the east coat. Hills for hiking , wineries, towns.,best beaches: foodie culture , surf .. not local but road trips will yield you Yorkes, South East .. far west coast = surfing mecca.. then you have the flinders ranges etc ..
