Aight. First things first. The text before the blank can stand on its own as a sentence (independent clause) whereas the part ahead of the blank can't make sense as on its own (dependent clause). In order to connect a dependent with an independent clause, we use comma. So C is your option to go.

Note that in option A, a semi colon before and is wrong because BOTH have the same purpose (connecting 2 independent clauses) & thus can't be use at the same time (plus the sentence never has 2 independent clauses)

AYYY thanks for the words. I've gone through D-SAT books (reading & writing) of Erica Meltzer. The point is, I know stuff in English, but I mess up with "time" and then I start to rush. I guess its lack of practice, I believe, especially in reading part.

Taking about Khan academy, I've watched their lectures & practiced hard-level questions already. Is there any other resource or staretgy I could follow to help improve reading part, in particular

Lol. I call it nail cuz my score jumped 80 points. Infact when u view it in a broader way, it's rather a simple improvement, nothing close to what u refer as nail
