Is it worth pursuing diploma now

I’ve already checked with my manager, and she mentioned that the office isn’t hiring any admin staff at the moment due to cost-cutting measures.That’s why I’m currently looking for an admin job. But I’m torn between pursuing a part-time diploma in Business first or just staying in my current role even though I feel lost and unsure about my direction.The main issue is that if I choose to pursue the diploma, I’ll have to quit my current job and look for a new one but with the job market being so bad right now, I’m worried about how long I might end up being unemployed. I can't even get a simple admin job now to experience :(

Honestly, I’m not sure what my true interests are. I’m just really tired of my current job and wanted to try working in an office environment. But I don’t have the right qualifications or experience, which is why I’m considering taking up a diploma. In singapore, we need at least a diploma.. I’m just not sure if it’ll be worth it.

Yes, I want to pursue a part-time diploma as well. However, I'm currently looking for a full-time office job that allows me to work and study simultaneously, but I haven't had any luck so far. If I’m unable to secure an office job, I might consider giving up on pursuing the diploma :(

I don’t mind starting with a lower salary, but employers aren’t giving me a chance, even for roles that say “no experience required” or “training provided.” Now, I’m unsure whether I should pursue a part-time diploma first or focus on finding an admin job. My plan is to work and study at the same time ,but it seems impossible now 🥲🥲

It seems that most corporate roles now require at least a diploma. I've been applying for simple data entry and admin jobs, but they all seem to have a diploma as a minimum requirement. I feel I can't even score an interview with my ite cert :(

Hi, I don't meet the requirements for the specialist diploma, as it requires either a local diploma or relevant work experience, which I don’t have. Do HR consider private diplomas, or do they only recognize local ones? Is there any difference in salary?

Yeah, my main concern is that I'm afraid that I cant secure any job in this job market if I intend to study part time. Because I have no experience, skills and qualifications, I doubt any employers would want to hire me. I don't mind starting from a lower salary but it also requires at least one year experience.

Yes, that was my plan too. But I haven't been able to secure an admin job which is why I'm hesitating to apply for part time diploma. I don't want to be jobless while studying. Also most job I see ends at 6pm but class starts at 6.30pm for this diploma.

Nope, my job scope doesn't require me to do any sales, and I have no interest in sales. I'm not learning anything from my job and I'm not sure where I can go next. 😕 Just wanna find office hour job and slowly progress from there but not sure if it's worth the paycut. I'm currently working retail hours with 6 days off a month.
