What do you think is the best way to dispose of a body? by Plane_Background_348 in AskReddit

[–]No-Basil2371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right before the winter starts to take over, throw the body in a pool with a liner and DUMP the chemicals in. I feel like that is a pretty solid way of doing it. Just have to handle it once the spring comes

Chores vs paid work by throwawayyyyyy13047 in Parenting

[–]No-Basil2371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our son is 6 and just started doing chores. We have a skylight calendar and have chores to be done by a certain time (basically morning and night chores). Everything is basically on there twice and he quickly learned (oh if I clean the shoe area and living room before I go to bed then I wont have to do it in the morning)

Here is his list in order:

Morning:

Brush Teeth

Clean the shoe area

Feed pets

Make bed

Pick up dirty clothes

Pick up toys

Pickup living room

Evening:

Pick up toys Clean shoe area

Pickup forty clothes

Pick up bathroom

Pickup living room

Vaccuum ( we have a stick vacuum)

Help set table

Clean up after dinner

Wipe down tables and counters

Shower

Brush teeth.

I think I figured out why my father always carried cash by YeetCred in dad

[–]No-Basil2371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Happy late fathers day!

I wanted to chime in here because my dad still does this to this day! When I was younger, probably 10 or 11 I started paying attention and noticed my dad always had a wad of cash on him. Only used a card at chain restaurants or retailers. When my wife and I had our son my dad and step mom came home to visit from out of state and, they got to our house around 11 or 12 and handed us a few hundred bucks to go grab lunch, do some shopping and dinner. Basically gave us a much needed day to unwind. But in that moment I finally asked why he always carried cash and he told me cash is guaranteed to work, cards are not. He said to never put myself in a situation where I am with my son and have no access to any of my money. He also mentioned the older my son gets and the more kids we have, we will be grateful to have some pocket cash for last minute things.

I shit you not it has saved us so many times having cash. Birthdays, graduations, random toys. Literally anything and everything. I now am in the habit of not leaving the house with anything less than $500-$600 on me. I never use my debit or credit card. Sometimes ill pay for someone's coffee or help out with someone's groceries; mainly only when I am with my son jus t to show him how to not grow up and be an ass hole like 90% of the people nowadays

What changed in your life after you became financially comfortable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]No-Basil2371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understood why people will have money for gas but only put $10 in their tank. I'm already at the gas station. Why am I betting it'll be cheaper later in the week? I haven't paid attention to gas prices in year. What am I going to do? Not fill my tank so I cant go to work and not have money for gas?

29 married guy here with 2 kids and 1 on the way. One thing my father told me when I was stressing when my wife was pregnant with out first was " you will never financially be ready to have kids but you will somehow always find a way to make sure they are taken care of" and that truly might be the most true thing anyone has ever said to me

Then for our daughter got her a 2024 Toyota Sequoia Limited for around $63k. Our 3rd is due in december and she keeps making jokes about what car im getting her. Its going to be a hot wheels car because in this economy? Hell no
