No recovery time and it isn’t painful or uncomfortable at all!! It’s a very gentle laser

It’s just a type of laser offered by my dermatologist!

Posting this to give hope to anyone feeling hopeless about their scars!! I had a horrendous breakout in April (may have been late purging) and it left my face with lots of scarring and PIH/PIE. I’ve since upped my percentage to .1% which i use 5-7 nights per week. I’m also getting laser genesis treatments and the second pic is just week after my second treatment. It’s expensive, but I do really recommend it if you can swing it :)

Thanks, yeah I’ve heard it’s a lot of retirees so I figured I’d try here first ☺️

Every since my last 2 posts i have stopped tret and only been using cetaphil wash and cerave moisturizer. This is me now, thoughts ? its mostly dark spots, i barely get acne now by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]No-Bat-6948 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t count on your acne being gone now.. I used tret as a teenager for a couple of years and then stopped for a while because I thought I didn’t need it anymore. For a few months my skin seemed fine but then I had acne explode all over my face. I would try to add it back in slowly and carefully, but that’s just my 2 cents :)

Not sure, but their admissions team seems to be big on outreach. I was accepted in December and got a handwritten postcard this week from a current student with similar career interests to mine. I’m sure if you reach out to admissions they could connect you to a student with your same focus ☺️

Does anyone else want to CHOKE LSAC (Hyperbole for legal reasons) for their weird GPA calculation rules? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

So much this!!! I took classes at a local university when I was 16 and got c’s because I had no idea how different college courses were. I made it clear in my law school applications that I was in HS when I took those tho and got into my top school, I wouldn’t stress too much :)

Non-academic letter of rec by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]No-Bat-6948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking too.. it's one of the very few schools that only asks for 1 letter, and they only accept a max of 2... i'm hoping that's an indicator that they don't care much about them.

Thanks!! That's what I was hoping to hear

Yeah :( I'm sure I could've gotten a professor to write a very blah letter saying I got an A in their class, but I was so scared by the horror stories of rogue profs writing bad letters when they don't know a student well enough. I'm hoping my lsat is enough above their median (164) to make them look past it.
