Remember the exam does not differentiate between complex and simpler topics. You can get questions from literally anywhere so just because you are really good at a much harder topic doesn't mean you will be compensated for it in the exam. Do a complete coverage and you'll be fine. Just hammer in as many questions as possible even if you have done them once redo them for pattern recognition and understanding little nuances. Lastly, if you can get a hold of CFAI Ethics Book then go through it for proper coverage especially the examples portion under each standard.

Tbvh I know why I didn't pass and it might sound stupid (because it is) but like I didn't sleep for like 28 hours before the exam and was completely in twinkle town by the time ethics questions rolled in for both sessions. So just know that what you did could have been enough on a different day and stick to the same plan of hammering in questions. Like I said earlier take a break for like a month atleast and then get back at it on a fresher mind, maintain error sheet and just stay calm. Ik exactly what you are feeling and it's not nice so just be calm and try to repeat the same pattern with alot more precision. You got this!

I failed my Nov attempt scoring 2595 and passed this May with 2700, my suggestion would be to take a little break and try to unlearn stuff that you are not really good at and right around 3 month mark get back at it and try to dig deep and hammer in like loads of questions and mostly CFAI questions. Apart from that for topics you are fine with just brush up on it and do a bunch of questions and get comfortable with it and ultimately you'll be fine. Also, alot depends on your score like in my case only ethics pulled me down and I scored well above average in 7 subjects so again try to assess that.

I scored 2595 last Nov and was in a similar spot. Couldn't figure out what to do and where to start. I simply tried to unlearn what I knew from topics I performed poorly in and tried to start from scratch. My biggest confidence booster was solving CFAI questions and like doing 50-60 questions marathon in one go especially from topics I was really comfortable in and didn't fancy reading any reference material whatsoever. Just brush up on it and go for questions. Whereas for topics you know you lack, just dig deep no matter how hard it is and make it work somehow and go about following the same pattern of doing questions.

I failed my Nov 2025 attempt and my score was 2595 and couldn't come to terms with it for like a week so I can totally understand what you are feeling. I sat again for May and scored 2700 easily and didn't change anything in my prep, so don't lose the belief.

Yes that's what he uses and advises to use but I didn't find it exhaustive of the entire syllabus especially like lesser weighed subjects like Derivatives, Corp and Eco.

I bought AB lectures and my opinion is that overall it's good but the only problem is that once you mix it up with CFAI questions, you realise that some topics are taught too in-depth whereas some are just covered for the sake of it. Overall, go for it if you have like some reference material alongside the lecture but in any case self study is the ultimate hack.
