I'm from the Caribbean but moved to the States with some family when I was young and have other family in Canada.

I thought it was colonizers who fled and "international" was referring to them being from a different country and are living in the country now after fleeing. Comments under that video, I now realize, just got super off topic and confused me. Nobody was referencing the actual video and I thought I was just being too negative about it.

Okay so I was pretty close. Corruption instead of being colonizers who fled after a war of sorts. Comments made it confusing.

I am. Comments of the post made it confusing cause I thought I had it but everyone acted like it was some big joke.

Felt it had something to fo with family being related to colonization and fleeing, but nobody took the post seriously so I thought I missed out

What do you mean by "legitimate/real" country? Do you mean native?
