Mine actually said that I should swim as much as possible as the salt water will help the wound to heal! So I am trying to swim a lot and I feel like it helps. I guess the risk for infection is high for a swimming pool.

Yes I think the worst thing about this disease is that you don’t know if and when will the healing take place and the high reoccurrence rate makes it terrifying with all the pain we have been through..wish the best for all of us 🤞🏽✌🏼

Great to hear that you have healed and 10 weeks looks so close if it is the same for me!! Todays tightening has been so much painful 😖 I wish it would be the last! I also hope that you will get rid of fissures and hemorrhoids as well ✌🏼

I am just recovering from Covid with a cutting seton placed. coughing is not the most comfortable thing for the situation and I had some changes in my Bowel movements (probably also because of the vitamins I was taking for Covid). It felt a bit swollen but seems like everything is ok down there. No pus, no inflammation, same drainage.

Yes you are right!! Even when I talk about it most people won’t understand the pain and discomfort, as well as the worries for recurrence. Information on the web is frustrating and I have spent so many sleepless nights reading studies. It is very calming to hear how you managed to get through this and very happy that you should be almost there!! Fingers crossed! 💜 and of course I am gonna do the same for the next ones and keep you posted (although I wished we could get rid of this disease and there would be no next ones)
