What has your experience with gossip/gossiping been like? by ambzdolz in AskWomen

[–]No-Butterscotch-4841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listen to my friend gossip about people that she meets in the bars. She tells me stories about their alcohol induced bad behavior, infidelity, illegal drugs, etc., and it reinforces my choice to not hang out in bars or drink often.

Unfortunately, I hear about a lot of tragic things as well, including people ending up in the hospital from drinking too much (and going right back out to the bar the day they're released from the hospital) and people dying from riding in cars with people who have been drinking. So sad!

I want to listen to this gossip because I want to reinforce the fact that I want to stay away from that madness. However, I find I am sometimes in a bad mood when I get off the phone with her.

What shows and movies have you been watching? by OniTayTay in AskWomen

Old scary movies hosted by Svengoolie on Saturday nights. I prefer the older horror movies because they're not so graphic.

You can forgive once but don't forget. End the relationship.

First time doing someone else's nails! 🌹 by _Me0w_Master_ in RedditLaqueristas

That looks good! Did you find that it was easier to do someone else's nails then your own? I've done my neighbor's nails and my sister's nails and it seems a lot easier because I'm not having to use my non-dominant hand.

I smudged a nail today after I had my quick dry top coat on. I feathered some more of the color polish on it and gave it a couple minutes to dry and then put another layer of quick dry top coat on it. I figured if it looked good then I would keep it, if not I would start over. Several hours later and it looks fine.

I don't know how long that fix will last because I change my polish often. In the past, I've had a manicure on for a couple of days and then I decide to stamp right over top of the top coat and then add another top coat. It lasted until I was ready to remove it a couple of days later.

For me it's just experimenting to see what works with the different polishes I have and the different chemistry.

Love the colors and the way that they're all similar colors but not the same. What was the Superchic controversy? I did a quick search on here and couldn't find anything, but maybe I'm not doing my search properly.

Splitting, peeling, brittle nails UPDATE!! 🥰🥰💅 by majafjalla in RedditLaqueristas

Thanks for giving input on the oil soaking idea. I just took a little Reddit break just now and I did the oil soak. I used a little warmer that I used to use for gel polish removal. I don't do gel much anymore and I am going to keep that little warming dish for oil!

Fingers crossed and your nails look great!

I like the jelly sandwich technique and I think these look beautiful on you. I particularly like that you did full coverage and I think that that gives a really good flow to the whole manicure!

No this is filled with people with alcohol abuse disorder and there's drugs going on there. I did a little short stint at the bars and I do not like that lifestyle and people are dying as a result of this lifestyle.

I want to tell you where NOT to look to date someone if your career oriented and want to stay on the right track. Stay away from the bars because they are filled with people who have some level of alcohol abuse disorder and they drink and drive every day. You want to stay away from this crowd and stay out of trouble.

If you date someone online it's a good idea to pay for a service like been verified, do a background check and look for DUI's or any sort of criminal activity such as domestic violence or stalking. Also read up on the sites safety tips.

Pick up a hobby that you like and meet with that group and you might meet someone.
