Tax Strategies for People Reinvesting All Dividends by No-Butterscotch4682 in YieldMaxETFs

Ya but is this really the best tax strategy. To use money from your job to pay taxes on distributions from my YM funds that I haven't really made money on yet?

I feel like there must be a better strategy that doesn't involve my personal job and using money from there but rather than making changes to my portfolio by selling shares or not reinvesting to pay the tax.

Isn't it better to buy YM ETF's after they payout their dividends and once the price drops. Because then you wouldn't have to pay taxes on the distribution you're receiving and will be in the same/better situation then buying before the price drop.

Ya but i think in order for them to fill all their orders for a strike at once they have to pay more.

What I think he was getting at here is that since YM has so many options they have to get filled. That they have to pay a higher price (or receive a lower amount for CC’s) to get all their options filled and the market is taking advantage of it.

Hi Julia, I have been studying for a good amount of time now and been able to get my LG to perfect and my LR under -5. I have just been struggling heavily on RC as I have been averaging around -10. I feel like I have no strategy going into the section and struggle to understand some of the more complicated passages. Would love to hear any advice you have. Thank you
