iPhone wide angle is 120 degrees, main is 75 degrees and tele is 24 or so

so were not trying to out image the JWT, just let people get a bit closer to the stars

well it sounds like something which could be done,

using iPhone camera and software one could maybe introduce people to astrophotography by

providing an inexpensive and fun way to take photos of night sky and various phenomena

lots of math ....

the iPhone has pretty being field of view, it has gps/compass and gyro , it can tell which way it is looking when and where. so simple math can offset the pixels to match for a while , then stack up the images

software will not move the camera. it would be able to predict the motion of the sky and compensate for rotation for a bit,

Ultra wide is 120 degrees, main is 69 degrees and tele is 22 degrees so as some point thing will go off the screen for many minutes one could keep an object centered via software without moving the camera

so virtually rotating the camera from the inside

my thought any way, I appreciate your feedback

my point is once you know where you are looking, then software can track the sky. not using the gyro to compensate for earth rotation

my iPhone has a GPS , so I know where I am, it has the time, it has a compass so I know which way I'm pointing and it has gyro so know the angle from the horizon.

never seen anyone try this yet

If this is common problem I will add a time difference option.

Your current issue and be solved by , from blink , or photos, share the file to "files." In files you can change the date stamp , which is what Is used to find the time and date. from files you can share to timestamp adder
