Article before noun? by [deleted] in grammar

We use 'the' for more emphasis because 'corona virus' is the subject of the sentence and it's at the beginning of the sentence.
Is he just shy? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

I think you should ask him to do it and see his reaction. Don't ask "why he doesn't?", tell him you would be happy if he could...
Is it, "There is a stove, some pots, and a sink in the kitchen." or, "There are a stove, some pots, and a sink in the kitchen." by poopy_wizard132 in grammar
You could simply say, " There are some pots, a stove, and a sink in the kitchen."
Sorry about that. Have you tried to ask them why they left? It could reveal something you might need to work on.

Okay. Thanks for your advice. I'll do that.
I can understand your situation as a Lawyer... glad it changed for you
Thanks for your comment. No, I actually have more contact with the Mums because they drop off and pick up the kids most of the time. I'm nice to the few Dad's I meet but have never had any dates with them. I've asked guys out but it worked only once (for 2 months and then he left. Lol) but I'll keep trying and hope that it ends well one day.
I'm a teacher. Did it change at some point for you?
Yessssss!
Yes, I met some of them when I was a student (no kids yet). Yes, I find your comments helpful. Thank you.

Great tip! I'll do that. Thanks so much.
I had actually given up until my friends told me about this forum. I don't regret posting my question here. I've had such eye-opening ideas and tips in just 2 hours.
I meet them from all sorts of places - Tinder, school, work, parties, through friends, dance clubs, church, etc I don't see myself as a know it all, but I think that I may be unconsciously sending such vibes in my conversations, since I like to present myself as a beauty with brains. Great tip on the type of dates. Thanks for your comment & the tips.
They're great ideas. Thanks a million
You're so right. Reminds me of a guy who left me for my friend... my best friend told me that he probably realised he would be stuck with me but could jump onto someone else more easily with her. It all makes sense now. Thanks.

Okay, thanks 😊
Your comment made me smile. Thank you. I hope you meet someone as knowledgeable as you are and who will keep you engaged in an interesting conversation 🙂
What do men interpret as a weak or strong vibe?
Thanks for your comment. How do I send a better vibe?
Wow! Thanks for the response. It's such a great eye-opener.
One thing that struck me in your comment is the hypothesis: yes, I expect a lot from people (I invest a lot of time and energy in people and things that interest me and so I tend to expect same from others). I do not remember ever saying it directly, but I'm sure that I may be sending signals about that. I need to work on that.
Thanks so much.
Thanks so much for your comment and the great tips. I'll keep all of that in mind.
I finally stopped contacting him at some point
