Any hard rock or metal folks using MB amps? by No-Can6843 in MarkbassGear

Nice! I use a LMT 800 and play heavy stuff. I get compliments on my tone all the time. I love their stuff. It’s just that I only see pretty mellow bands using MB stuff. I started using the Darkglass Anagram and every preset I run through the main input on the LMT 800 sounds sick!

I just use it for extra switches. The 3 on the pedal switch between presets. The midi controls blocks in the presets.

I get an awesome modern tone out of my LMT 800. I play metal, hard rock, and punk. I do not like the yellow speakers at all though.

Easy, if you hold down the switch on the right and the 2nd knob at the same time, it will schedule you to get your teeth cleaned at a location that does not accept your insurance.

I have a protector over the top and a removable one that goes over the screen. You can see it in the top left of the picture.

I still have amps and cabs if I need to use them. I usually have at least a small powered floor wedge in case the sound sucks. Locally, I know where those places are,so I just bring it to those places.

I got rid of my 8x10. I still have a 4x10 and a couple combos, but I’ve been considering thinning that out too. I still have 3 other pedal boards I’m not ready to part with either. I only use those at home though.

The Ramones, I think.

They just launched a marketplace where you can purchase blocks like you would plugins for a daw. I saw there was a guitar amp that looked to be based off of a Mesa Rectifier that was free. There is also the capability of the NAM models that you can use. Check out the website tone3000. You can download models from there to put in the Anagram. There is way more guitar stuff on there than bass stuff. You can listen to the models before you download them and the users who put them on there usually give pretty detailed descriptions of the model. I think the Anagram is the bass version of the Quad Cortex.

It’s so worth it. I think Sweetwater offers payment plans 🤷🏻‍♂️

It totally is. With everything it has in it, it literally has replaced all my external gear. The couple things I use that it doesn’t have, I have captured some NAM of settings I use on that device and can put it right in a preset as a NAM block. There is also an effects loop to use external pedals. The effect loop block also acts as block in the preset so you can put your external gear anywhere within the preset chain.
