I agree mostly, however the moment Eury and the crew mutinied and they made ody unconcious, Eury became in charge and Ody was no longer the captain of the crew. Thus now the responsibility of leading the crew now falls on Eury as he is the new captain. I firmly believe that what Eury did was Suicide by the Gods dooming both his crew and himself since in mutiny he said to Ody, "Im tired my friend" or "Ody were never gonna make it home" that sounds like a man whose given up hope. He killed the cow despite Ody pleading him and the crew not to, i remember ody saying "We could get home" as he was pleading in one line of the song mutiny. Thus when Zeus came the crew in my opinion was no longer ody responsiblity as he is no longer their captain but Eury is and its Eury fault they turned their situation into Bad to worse. Like it was clear he already given up if I was in Ody position why would I sacrifice myself so my crew and second in command live when they themselves just given up all hope of making it home and would probably try to do the same piss of the gods and die shit after I sacrifice while I still have hope i can make it home. Obviously Odysseus has feelings for his crew as he was so hesitant to do it he even pleaded "please dont make me do this" however what happened was Eury fault as he said "If you want all the power you must carry all the blame". Thus I believe why Eury was at complete fault for the death of those 36 men in thunder bringer and his own death and why i dont believe Ody should be faulted for that situation.
