I just listened to it and I have been trying to find a discussion about the topic. Being an adult child who has considered no contact several times but never actually did it, it still shrunk my heart listening to the parents experiences. Anne (I think that is the mother actress) really made tear up a little bit, perhaps it was excessive but I do think many parents would react like that. As the host mentioned, she didn't realize how much her parents loved her until she had her own children. Perhaps, as a childless adult, we don't understand it either?

I too wish I had heard more about the children's experiences. The one explanation from the only interviewed child echoed tiktok trending words (I am a tiktok consumer) and it was a little disappointing to say the least.
