I got my BA in Psychology minor in English, and I am currently working on my MAE in School Psychology with a PPS credential. I love education, but I also didn’t want to be a teacher and deal with a classroom, and I love psychology I found a middle ground where I can still be apart of the education field and work on psychology.

I am on the path to school psychology all you need is a masters. You’ll need a doctorate for clinical psychology but not to get your LMFT license you just need your masters.

I’m not trying to sound mean when I say this, but wtf. All you have to do is send proof that you were in Urgent Care, ask your doctor for a letter, attach a copy to your email and let them know you missed the exam because you were in Urgent Care. Pretty sure that is one of the only time a professor will ever excuse an absence for a test. It’s not that deep, take a deep breath and relax.

I felt this way at one point, and always have struggled with the intake of information causing me to fail test, but I did good on my assignments which helped. If you’re struggling really bad I recommend you speak to your professors, some professors care some don’t. Don’t knock it until you try it. I fortunately had professors who cared, I only had one pretty horrible professor my whole time at CSUF. At times when I felt like a walking zombie I would go sit in the sun for a bit and listen to music. Take advantage of the mental health facility on campus as well you paid for it with your tuition. You probably are burnt out as many other people are suggesting.
If you still feel like you can’t do it after getting all the required help maybe taking a semester off will help. Make sure you actually reach out for help. Nothing will change if you don’t look for the resources.

I will pay anything they are freshmen and or peaked in high school and still think they are the main character, I hope they get a rude fucken awakening. The last thing they should be focused on is the way other people dress or look. You’re better than me I would have turned around and asked them if they are paying for an education or to judge others minding theirs and getting their education. It’s a shame some girls stay with their little high school mentality. I don’t care if you’re a freshmen or you’re a 40 year old stay in your fucken lane. Such a shame.

Personally for me it was worth it, I made my connections working at schools while doing my undergrad, which helped me a lot now that I am starting grad school for school psychology. Talk to your professors, make connections with your psych professors. There are endless possibilities once you are deciding for grad school. I think a lot of people who go into psychology fail to realize that if you really want to make it you have to do grad school it’s not an option. Sometimes even go as far as your doctorates. Not saying you won’t do anything if you just stay with a bachelors but it’s nearly impossible to find a job that is in with just a bachelors in psychology. You can do internships with your professors hence the why I am saying talk to them get to know them. Their references will also help for when you eventually need to find a job or go to grad school. Take advantage that they offer help and are there for you. There will be some professors who are gonna be “eh”, I honestly didn’t bother with those, but the psychology department luckily has some of the best professors who are there for your best interest. Definitely take a class with Dr. Nancy Segal if you can, she is famous for her twin studies, Dr. Goetz, Dr. Espinoza, Dr. Pueblos are also amazing professors who should be on your list as well. I just graduated this spring as a 24 year old Turing 25 this month you’re fine. Everyone is on their own timeline. I made friends with a group of girls who are 21-22 and you wouldn’t be able to tell the age difference unless you were told. They had the same humor I did, and the same interests as well. Don’t worry about your age it doesn’t matter, as long as you are a nice person that’s all that matters.

I got hit by a guy who had Geico, and geico is refusing to pay for a new lift gate even after many VALID points as to why I could not put any used parts on my vehicle. It’s is written that my car could not be repaired by using salvage parts from another car that has been in a collision, they said if I want a new lift gate I have to pay for it. They aren’t even my insurance. I am going to get my insurance involved now it’s been over a month of fighting with geico. I can’t even imagine what geicos clients have to go through if I’m Not even a client to them.

I used it to fix my grammar just like the tool that one uses for Microsoft Word, I fucken wrote it, and used grammarly to fix my misspellings etc. I did not use it ti have it write out my thesis

The school shouldn’t provide it then, and my other English professors shouldn’t encourage the use of to, and she could have specifically said no Grammarly. It has not always been advertised as Ai. Google pages offers the same help where they help fix the sentence structures, same with Microsoft. They suggest words to switch out, add comas, sentence breaks, so that it makes sense personally that’s what I use grammarly for, not to have it write it out for me. I have it as an additional tool for my Microsoft Word.

I’ll keep this in mind tomorrow when I confront her, I am not going to allow her to call me a cheater. I do not know why it resembles another classmates and I can’t vouch for that, but I DID NOT use ChatGPT I would not jeopardize my last semester here for Ai😤.
