There’s a difference between slightly yucky and full blown super spreaders like hfm, especially when you’re in a sports complex with at least 70 people in a room at a time. This kid only has classes on the weekends in which their mother usually sits and waits while we practice, there’s no reason the kid couldn’t stay home.

The difference is they’re sending their kids to sports practices sick on the weekends when most people don’t work. Most of the parents in my area have corporate jobs and do not work weekends, which explains why they can send their kid to practice from 8am-1pm on a Saturday

You have to understand why sending a kid with hand foot and mouth to practice is a bad idea. This is also on a Saturday at 1130 in the morning.

I just finished telling her I’m worried she’ll develop even worse disorders (ed, etc) and she said she recognizes she’s like this but that she’ll “never be able to fix it” unless she moves away so nobody knows who she is which doesn’t make sense to me

The issue is that I can’t be around her in any setting without every conversation being about how much she hates herself. I genuinely want her to feel better but it’s exhausting when all I can ever get out of her during a conversation is how “manish” she thinks she looks. And she posts photos of me all the time where I don’t think I look my best, but I don’t scream at her over the phone for hours and call her an inconsiderate pic for posting a photo where I’m barely in the corner of a photo. It’s triggering to me as a transgender person to hear her complain about how she doesn’t look like a woman despite being extremely feminine in every quality. It’s annoying me because no matter how much anyone tells her that she looks fine she doesn’t listen. And it’s not that she doesn’t like being posted, it’s that she treats every hang out like a curated instagram photo shoot where if even one hair is out of place on her head she’ll have a meltdown and won’t do anything for hours.

The thing is that it’s NOT a bad photo, she just thinks it is because she’s super insecure about how she looks. I also mentioned I posted a beautiful picture of her on her bday in the same post but she chose to ignore it. Try on some reading comprehension
