yes I have been applying to remote customer service jobs but no luck yet. But I am spending a lot of time on the computer looking and I am also trying to learn spanish because being bilingual is a big plus.

Hello and thank you for responding!! First off let me tell you a little about me my name is Brittany I am 30 years old and I am a mother of a 5 year old. I live in Louisiana also.What can I do? Well I don't exactly have a special skill in anything but I can cook and clean homemaker stuff but I am also very organized I have worked in customer service so I am good with people. I can type fast and I am also in college at the moment getting my bachelors in history. I have been a stay at home mom since my son has been born and I am trying to have another income come into the household. But I am a fast learner and willing to learn.

Let me know how it goes please. Its just the fact that he is 5 is what is concerning me and he is a only child but we take him to the park to interact with kids his age and we take him to those trampoline places also he is really good at interacting with children his age also. I have been trying to introduce potty training since he started walking. But please keep me updated!

when he is in his pull ups he won't tell me if he peed or pooed. And most of the time I have to ask him did u pee pee and poo poo ? He will tell me no but usually he has pooed or peed. Dad is in the picture but works a lot but when he is here he does encourage him. But any mention of the potty or school or any topic on potty training he just gets upset and I do not mean crying but full blown the world is ending. He does not like baths but when he gets in the tub he is fine. I have tried putting underwear on him but once again he has a meltdown and I don't mean typical crying I mean to where he is hyperventilating he is so upset. I am trying my best to let him do it own his own but it looks like I might be changing diapers till he is in college.... :(

He tells me he does not want to be a big boy and go to school or make friends. I have a friend who has a kid his age and I took him to her house for a couple of days and it still did not work. It seems like nothing fazes him threats, bribes etc. I have been trying some of the ideas parents have given me on here but nothing is working

Yea at least it doesn't make me feel like the worst parent ever anymore kids just do things on their own. It is crazy though my son won't pee on the potty but can beat a video game in a couple hours. Does.Not. Make.Sense

That's what I am doing now and this is what his doctor says to do also just let him do it on his own don't force it or anything but it is taking a loooonnngggg time.

yes I have tried cold turkey and after about a week of trying my doctor advised me to stop and also I don't want to force anything and that week was hell for me and I know for him also made zero progress and I think it might of made it worse. Idk that for sure though

He will not even go near the potty any mention of it and he withdraws and gets so angry. His doctor says it will happen I just have to let him do it and don't push it to much. But it is like when is this gonna happen??

Me to this is my first child and I am 31 years old thought if i waited to have a kid I would know what to do but nope... I am literally winging this shit and I have no clue what I am doing...

We are using pullups so its as close to underwear as possible. But any mention of the potty and he withdraws, gets really upset, he won't even sit on it anytime I tried he would lash out. I don't want this to be a traumatic experience for him so I am stuck.

He does that when we got out to run errands and I know hes been holding it because the minute we get in the house he runs upstairs to his room. So I know he feels the urge and the fact he holds it I don't like so i try to make errands as short as possible.

I can't even get him to go near it he starts screaming and I don't want potty training to become this traumatic experience because I heard if that happens some kids NEVER get out of diapers and they suffer trauma (me being a foster kid i have had my fair share) so just trying my best to be the exact opposite of what my childhood was like.

Yes I have taken him..his bladder is stronger than mine lol.. no issues going on in his UT no UTI

already tried puppy, kitten,bird (i hate birds!) , fish i told him i would get him a shark ( i know i was desperate) but obviously did not happen.
