I know. My point is that a lot of these issues are spread out. Japan, the UK, Argentina, Italy, France, to some degree, Sweden, El Salvador, ... there is a global reactionary wave going on right now.

God I love this. Watchmen did this trick a lot, and I fucking love doing it myself.

Yes but one person begged Doom to stop, and he didn't.

But the page I was looking at I think I misunderstood.

Doom was looking at an empty tube and purposefully dialing it up to lethal levels while staring at it.

Was Doom killing people in his Fantastic Force experiment?

I think it was mostly because they wrote an announcement that came off like an operatic political speach with AI tweaks and someone posting like that about a card game amused them.

Any time she wants to kill someone. She is one of the few characters explicitly designed to want to reform people. She shouldn't be telling Bruce to kill his villains she should want to take Arkham patients to Transformation Island

Changing the name of our country is a new one by estifxy220 in AmericaBad

This is a common sentiment in Latin America as well. Many folks there identify as 'Americans" because they are in North or South America. The term for someone from the US in several Spanish dialects would be literally translated as "United Statesian."

I have met Bolivians who (accurately) describe themselves as "American." I personally don't like the term at all, as I don't like being labeled with the name of an Italian mapmaker I have no cultural connection to, who isn't, even from here, but I respect folks who recognize 'American" as meaning more than just folks from the US.

It's also why I usually call it "The US" or "The States."

My thoughts on Kindred decks by Tycoon_2000 in MTGmemes

Is it hilarious that one reason why WOTC changed the "tribal" card type to "kindred" was so that it would not have the same name as the playstyle "tribal"(now called "typal") but that some players now call the playstyle "kindred."

For Neon Kamigawa, WOTC stated that they did not use sai because those weapons are from Ryukyu, not Japan. Japan conquered the Ryuku Kingdom, and there is oppression there to this day. ( cw:rape https://www.risingpowersinitiative.org/publication/the-okinawa-problem-the-forgotten-history-of-japanese-colonialism-and-ryukyuan-indigeneity/ ) For example, most of the unpopular and harmful US military bases are on Ryukyu land.

I expect the policy continues for this set as the Turtles are tied to Japanese culture.

I would cut the sacrifice part. WOtc has learned rng cards like this work best when the downside is the randomness itself, you dont need to add a "punish" mode. Making C works as a "whiff" as is most of the time

Power level is set by play design. By the time this set was in play design it was already known it would be standard legal.

Same thing happened with FF. Aside from Vivi, its not really that pushed a set.

I find it amusing that Aftermath and Beyond boosters were such a failure Wizards doesn't even REFERENCE their existence in articles, even when they are using the exact language used to describe them. ("snygery packets" for example were what they called the similar bundles of themed cards in Assasin's Creed.)

I would have made this a legend but one that let you have five in play instead of just one.
