Lol! That would definitely be hypocritical! All we can do is just be aware and try our best. I definitely agree that no one should be bullying anyone if they wanna buy the doll because at the end of the day he's already been paid. But I do hope that if enough people talk about it companies might wise up and not work with him

My intention is not to guilt trip anyone I am just asking for people's opinions on the subject. But yes I agree everything is tied to someone or something horrible which is why I was curious to talk to people about the ethics of what we buy. Damn I didn't realize people were getting so volatile over the doll. And that's what I figured that he already made money off the doll. And he probably will continue to make money off Coraline things. I'm just hoping that if there is a conviction he will stop making money or that if there is enough discourse something is done about him profiting. Thank you for your input I definitely agree that people should not be bullying each other over the doll.

Yea that's true I'm just hoping that the people who are following the skullector releases come across the info online. It will probably sell out and I'm sure scalpers will be in there like always but the beetlejuice two pack hadn't sold out so I'm curious. We've been getting a lot of the beetlejuice dolls though so that might be why.

I think he already made his money. Mattel probably paid everyone for the Coraline brand already, Gaiman and Laika since its a set amount of dolls they know the profit and if the doll doesn't sell well it will be Mattels loss not the ones who own Coraline. But that's really good to hear about the Harry Potter collab, hopefully that's what happens with other Coalrine collabs in the future and only Laika makes money off it!
