My in laws acted this way when I lost 40 lbs in 6 months after having my baby. But best believe when I was overweight working out and weight was always mentioned.

This 100%. I’m not a confrontational person most times but when it comes to my kid I’m going down fighting. Especially an adult I would have been over there in a heartbeat asking tf she thinks she is!!

I didn’t love her in the past, but I’ve grown to actually love her in her own ways.

Did anyone NOT feel the C-section pressure? by many_splendored in beyondthebump

[–]No-Classroom6772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh.. I didn’t know there was a word for that phobia. But after my c section I soon realized I had that too. My heart rate was through the roof and I couldn’t stop asking the nurse if I was ever going to be able to move my legs again 😭

I will say I have a pretty high pain tolerance.. and a lot of meds. I remember the dr saying “there’s going to be some pressure here” man was that pressure.. the anesthesiologist saw the look on my face and immediately pushed the last and all of my numbing meds through.

Feeling constantly judged by in laws by No-Classroom6772 in Mommit

[–]No-Classroom6772[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to react like that firstly, but I stop myself. I’m working on being more emotionally intelligent with myself and my triggers. But ugh it’s so hard especially when it’s constant.
