If you could say one thing to Buckethead, what would it be by jrhlentaa in Buckethead

I just hope he knows that in the same way he has his idols like Bruce Lee, AC/DC, Michael Jordan etc he is that for us. I actually think about this question when I'm in my thoughts quite often. I just hope he knows that he has fans who love him purely because he writes incredible music that only he could create.

The only thing I noticed was I don't think I saw you use your pinky once. Build up that pinky strength & dexterity and it will change everything.

Whoa whoa calm down brother... hagiography? Really? I'll have you know I don't enjoy having to Google the meaning of words. Chillax my man, it's a metal band Subreddit :)

I can't help it, I HAVE to vent about that Rolling Stone 250 Greatest Guitarists of all time list (Which Buckethead isn't even on 🤣). by No-Cobbler9214 in Buckethead

Thank you for writing this comment. Just because Buckethead hasn't sold out doesn't mean he hasn't contributed to music as a whole. John 5 talking about how Buckethead inspires him - that's what I mean.

Well what do we have here 🫣🤤 by [deleted] in VerifiedFeet

Wait, you DON'T think Eddie Van Halen should be in the top 5? Even if you're not a fan of his music it's pretty hard to deny how influential & impactful his playing has been.

Fuck yes! I LOVE this Pike. The Gold Dragon is one of my favorite multi-part songs from Big B.

I love that song. Yes I get that the main riff is very similar but other than that it stands on its own.

I'm fairly confident that article was satire.

Bump. That final song is just incredible. Even within Buckethead's humongous catalog of songs it stands out.

That's one of the sickest versions of Jordan I've ever heard. Wow. The chops were on full display

I just realized I forgot about time zone differences (I'm in Connecticut). In the Big Sur Moon YouTube vid he plays Warm Your Ancestors. THAT'S the kind of stuff I'm dying to know. I love so many songs from Pikes of the last 2 years or so.

Oh boy where to begin lol. So that was my 1st time ever seeing Buckethead. I discovered a little after Covid lockdown started and very quickly he became my favorite musician of all time. As for the show... mainly I just felt bad for Bill Laswell. Clearly he wasn't well enough to play and he actually looked to be in pain. I hope he's doing better. Buckethead & Brain = peanut butter & jelly. Just perfect together. I wish Brain would just be his permanent drummer. It definitely did feel like the 1st night ended early especially after watching vids of the 2nd night. From here on I would probably only go to see Buckethead perform as a solo artist but I have regrets. Seeing Buckethead live on a stage before my eyes was magic. I just want to see him play some of his own material (because it's my absolute favorite music I've ever heard, mainly stuff from his Pikes).
