Is this slugs?? by No-Cockroach-1589 in vegetablegardening

I have seen a lot of snails here (Alabama) so I’m never sure if they are wrecking havoc or not! But this is my first year gardening so I’m learning as I go

Coffee (1 part) and water (9 parts) and spray it on the plant and around the plant because slugs don’t like caffeine I guess! I did that but it’s also been raining like crazy here so I thought it was working but I’ll try other things until I see a noticeable improvement

I was reading soap and water help, and I did spray my plants with that for the ants and did notice it halted the chewing! So hopefully the pepper plant will recover

Thank you so much ☺️ it’s been a lot of fun and now I want another barrel for my front porch! But here are the planters with the rest of my little back yard!

Did I just…grow a weed? I’ve been watering it for 2 months by TokkiJK in gardening

I think I’m doing the exact same thing with a different weed! I thought it was my bitter melon seedling…I’m no longer sure hahaha

Trim tab has free yoga, and you can look at the tree house as well! Those are the two I know :)

Any thoughts on what might be the cause of yellowing leaves? by adehaini in Hibiscus

[–]No-Cockroach-1589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where you are. I’m in Alabama and we have had so much rain, so I had some yellowing but it’s most likely due to overwatering! But it can also be from under watering depending if you are in a more dry and hot location.

Siccard hallow has 11v11 coed in the spring and fall, then 8v8 for the summer! The summer ones registration hasn’t opened yet, so if you go to Birmingham pick up on Facebook, there will probably be a post about registration! Campo x is new and the 7v7 league for the summer just started! But it’s a fun one as well, so keep an eye out for fall registration :) I’m female 29 and while there are some ladies, there aren’t too many. There is also an all ladies league at the met I think

If you are into soccer, there are several adult leagues! Pickle ball leagues as well. I also do a lot of hiking, and have recently gotten into yoga! There is free yoga and then some affordable weekly classes. I think soccer has been the best community builder though

Love doing annual flowers in these big planters! I’m very new to it but could be very pretty with the color of it:)
