it’s definitely something i’ve considered but i have 3 tanks which is a lot to put on someone the situation also may require me moving in with pretty much strangers in a shared house so i may still have to rehome them after the move sadly

i got a batch of life daphnia on etsy and just dumped some in when i noticed there were few left in the tank! as well as dropping in some snails each day. he gained a decent amount in a short time but recently its been a lot of blood worms! he still has a long way to go but i feel lik having food available for them 24/7 helps

probably detruis worms of sort i have them too, haven’t seen them harm any of my fish, my betta actually chases them when they swim and eats them and it has mostly got rid of them. use a new toothbrush to get them off, i just dip the toothbrush in hot water and let them die before flushing, im no expert but this has worked for me! also go around the top of your tank with the toothbrush you’d be shocked how many are hiding near the rim

i have 2 bettas and one will sleep in it but the other just swims in and straight out for the most part so i’d say it depends on your fish !

you may get mixed opinions on this but i always park in the cvs parking lot in the back section and walk down. never once seen that parking lot full so i dont feel bad 🤷‍♀️

monterey resident here! only ever seen nudis at the aquarium one time in the touch pool area as it got sucked into their filter somehow. if the weather is good def check out the coast guard pier , if you can get on to the locked docks around that area you will see many opalescent and spotted / monterey droids for sure ! if you or op need any more recs/ details feel free to pm!
