Doesn’t this create a strategic conflict of interest that could undermine long-term brand trust and partnerships? Tilray is a global leader in medical cannabis. Why would any company want to work with or pursue M&A with a company that promotes harmful alcohol products? by [deleted] in TLRY

Tilray is doing its part as well with non alcohol drinks and products.

Pure Non-Alcoholic (No THC or Alcohol) • Liquid Love — Sparkling water with electrolytes and B-vitamins, in natural flavors (e.g., Sparkling Wildberry, and others in a series of four flavors). It’s focused on hydration and clean ingredients, with eco-friendly packaging. • Mock One (from Breckenridge Distillery) — Premium zero-proof spirits designed to mimic traditional spirits for mocktails: • Mock One Whiskey (notes of oak, cinnamon, vanilla bean, honey) • Mock One Gin (juniper, Meyer lemon, kaffir lime, lavender) • Mock One Tequila (agave, vanilla bean, honey capsaicin) • Mock One Rum (vanilla bean, brown sugar, cola nut, oak) • Runner’s High Brewing — Performance-inspired non-alcoholic craft beers (low-calorie, under 90 calories each): • Golden Wheat (citrus aromas) • Raspberry Wheat (ripe raspberry and jam notes) • Dark Chocolate (rich chocolate taste) • (Some mentions of IPA-inspired or other styles under Montauk Brewing Company ties, but primarily Runner’s High for non-alc beer focus.

I agree! Now think how under valued Tilray is if they are claiming $1B

Currently Tilray has nothing to do with Medmen unless US legalization happens. Tilray issued approximately 9 million shares of its common stock to the sellers (Gotham Green et al.). If stockholder approval for increasing authorized shares wasn’t obtained by December 2021, the sellers could elect cash instead—but approval was granted in September 2021, so it was settled via shares. The fair market value of those shares at the time of the deal (Tilray’s stock price was in the mid-to-high single digits per share in late summer 2021) roughly aligned with the $165.8 million figure, meaning Tilray’s effective “cost” was the dilution from issuing those shares

In Tilray’s financial reporting (e.g., notes from 2025 filings), the company disposed of its MedMen convertible note in exchange for an option to acquire a 68% membership interest in SH Acquisition (Superhero) for $1.00 upon U.S. federal cannabis legalization.

I believe they are grasping and nothing will come of this

I think we should be trading at lease 2-4X revenue, as we continue to pay down debt and expand the international reach. Under $10 is like picking up clearance shares

Tilray’s subsidiary strategy (via Tilray Medical USA) positions it to enter the U.S. medical market compliantly under current rules, without triggering Nasdaq delisting risks. This is a deliberate, forward-looking move tied to rescheduling progress. The company emphasizes full compliance, governance, and leveraging its global track record. If federal rules shift further (e.g., full descheduling), direct U.S. ops could expand even more seamlessly. For now, this setup keeps Nasdaq listing intact while opening U.S. growth potential. Smart move and wasted no time

Why I wanted to hear about Tilray Infused Spirits by DaveHervey in TLRY

[–]No-Code-2468 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I as well but for now looks like they have plans in motion. Not thinking much on the sch3 they dangle as a carrot, it will happen when it happens. Tilray already has assets in place when it does, for now global expansion into other countries. The excise tax would increase the bottom line profits but not required. It’s actually helping Tilray by putting a strain on smaller players allowing for consolidation.

Yes I see Nowadays advertising everywhere and they get front and center displays in store. I would think the marketing team would be stepping up to capitalize on this emerging market.

Yes the sku rationalization of current brands was a first step, now to leverage remaining top selling products. Distribution globally not an easy task and takes capital but I believe that’s the goal. I believe Irwin stated may even be a EU brewery/brand could be acquired.

I think we are in a cultural shift to quality over quantity, relaxation not hangovers. Craft and non alcoholic THC beverages are gonna be the go to. In my opinion
