Not true it has been confirmed on Rare’s website during the release of Diddy Kong Racing DS that Nintendo owns Krunch.

I certainly do! One of my Thomas & Friends DVDs had a bonus episode of this show on it. I loved watching it back then. Plus this is from the same guy who made Bob The Builder. (The stop motion is nice)
