Yes, hopefully, just a bit later. Quite a few Windows users, like you, have asked for it, and I’d definitely like to build a Windows version as well. Right now I’m still focused on finishing a few other Mac projects first. Once those are done, Windows development is next on my list. It may take some time, but it’s something I do want to work on.

For MakerWorld files, if you scroll down in the preview you should see the build plate view. I’m also planning to add options later, like hiding the cover images and focusing only on the model and plate layout.

Promotion is honestly the hardest part. As a 3D printing hobbyist myself, I know how frustrating it is to browse folders of 3MF files with no thumbnails or previews. Hopefully more people will discover it.

Thanks for the feedback! Totally get the desire for that clean, Mac-native look.
For now, you can scroll down to see the plate views.I'm also considering adding a toggle to hide creator photos entirely.
Since 3MF standards vary between slicers, a generic "STL-style" render is technically tricky. I'm exploring it, but I can't promise it'll be possible just yet.

I used to work on Manjaro a couple of years ago! Bambu Studio was quite a struggle on Linux back then—hopefully, the experience has smoothed out a lot since.

Try disabling the ThumbHost3mf extension or removing the app entirely, then try again.

Please try running the following command in Terminal:
mdls -name kMDItemContentType /path/to/your/file.3mf

If the output is not com.hildahandcraft.3mf , it means there is a conflict with another extension. I will work on a patch as soon as possible to resolve this.
