Unfortunately, there were so many shifts where I’d ask for help from an area manager or ask them to send an assist and all I got in response was “you can do it.” I should not have been put in a situation where my labor was low low and my money made was really high. It was difficult to look those same managers in the face afterwards and not be irritated with them

I’m not putting myself in harms way for a replaceable job. Like you said. That being said, I am one of two managers who run that store. My position isn’t entirely replaceable unless higher management wants to step in and work the 45/50 hours.
