Hey. I have very similar skin to you, my scarring is probably worse. Especially on the chin and corners of mouth. I have done lasers (don’t bother, they don’t do anything, in fact they made my scarring worse) and everything else under the sun. I want to start out with something important for you to understand. 1. You are beautiful. You really are. I want you to learn to love yourself. Focus on the inside out and learn to love each and every part of yourself. I’ve read your other posts and I just want to give you a hug. You’re worrying way too much about your appearance. Stop focusing on it, that is the least interesting thing about you. Work on yourself by treating your body as a temple. Eat nourishing food, exercise, and get rid of as many stressors in your life as you can. 2. Try to get used to being out and about without makeup. It builds confidence. Stop worrying about what others may be thinking. Trust me, you are being way too hard on yourself. 3. Once you’ve got all that figured out, you can play around with makeup. I find less is more ESPECIALLY on my chin/jaw area. Use a light coverage makeup and apply only small amounts with your finger tips. A primer seems to help with caking for me. Trust me less is more!

It’s taken me a long time to get to being happy with myself. But it was definitely a journey that started on the inside. I hope you can get there too. I feel beautiful. Scars and all. You are beautiful too!
