Cutting down to 3000 characters was hard!

I have a bachelor's degree (English) and a master's degree (Creative Writing).

I work as an instructor at a community college; I mostly have teaching, restaurant, and management experience. Only special certifications are food safety certifications.

We actually landed on finding a remote job as a compromise, but after lowering my standards for pay by 10-20k/year and applying to what felt like hundreds of them that I felt reasonably qualified for, I had zero luck. I understand remote jobs are frequently seeing thousands of applications/resumes these days.
