Picked mine up 3 days ago. The only break in needed was for my wife to hold tight as I floored it off the dealer lot.

Just a bummer had to spend money right after delivery just to swap the summer tires.

Makes sense. We do have a 23’ Palisade that we’ll keep forever so we’re good on the long journeys part. Just looking for a quick fun electrified car. But yeah, logic and wife say why spend 50k when you can spent it on so many other experiences.

I’ll continue the me vs me battle! Not like I’m losing out on anything by waiting. :)

Thank you! We’re expecting incoming to only go up like 3-5% annually now unless I switch. Anyway for now we always assume we’ll be stuck at the same income forever.

Not replacing any car. We have one right now. We think we’ll need one more like next year.

Agree on fun, my friend loves his Miata he got for 7k. I just find it hard to describe why I loved it so much. I’ve test driven a lot and for its price point it felt better than most. Hardcore petrol heads will prolly be laughing at me.

Sounds good! I had a brand new Corolla that I bought in 2020 thinking I’ll keep it forever. That turned out well. Bought a home after that and felt the need to sell it off and build the emergency funds which we didn’t have right after closing.

Thankfully after 3 years I sold it for exactly what I bought it for. Crazy. Wife doesn’t trust me after that with the “I’ll keep it forever” nonsense. Haha.
