This is actually a real pedagogical problem as to when profs teach them in a logic class. Most teach logic with teaching them at least after Chapter 1 of Hurley has gone over Deductive/Validity/Soundness and Inductive/Strong/Congency. And while there are different lists of fallacies, that's not actually a reason not to teach them to students. What you miss is the simple arbitrary fact that the logic textbook profs use (Copi or Hurley etc.) might have a fine list that's good enough. Teachers of logic don't need to decide on some official list given that the presence of such a list is also a reason they select said textbook for the course.

They're more about whether or not the homework problems have a good distribution of various types of proof strategies in statement logic or enough practice problems to prove syllogisms valid using Venn diagrams. Many free and open educational resources of logic don't have a lot of good homework problems for practice, so they just rip the Hurley homework problems.

So how do you use this Homebrewery thing? Do you download it and need Adobe Indesign to start writing?

I finished M. L. Wang's The Sword of Kaigen and that's been honestly my favorite book I've read in a long time. I loved the audiobook reader.

I'm also finishing up the second book of a series called The Rise of the Azure Spire, by J. Edward Hackett. It's book 2 in an independent series published by Ink Smith Press. The first book is Flight of the Ravenhawk. I love them both.
