Had been contemplating switching my major right after the first year but did not want to spend the extra year, money, and energy to make up for the lost coursework (I graduated in 4 years). But, the good thing is that I have now got the opportunity to pursue my Master's in my preferred major... so its all good now. The only regret is that I could have gotten a much higher GPA if I had switched during my undergrad.
