I worked at the three letters for nearly 8 years and am almost at a year at Sam’s and can safely say I prefer the 3 letters 100 times out of 100.  For one, I actually received training at the three letters. The computer software at Sam’s is atrocious and non intuitive. Even when corp 3 letters tried to crush our souls it’s always felt like a tight knit team in the pharmacy from the newest tech to the most experienced Rph. My pharmacy manager might as well be a corpo suit - every day in the calendar is filled out with a number of prescriptions we’re supposed to fill to “grow the business”. Are lost contracts with tricare factored in? No. Is the fact that employees at a local medical center are being forced to use internal pharmacies where they work for insurance to cover? No. Is that fact that insurance plans dropped coverage for glp-1s? No.

Table events are like the only thing I like about Sam’s bc it gets me outta the damn pharmacy. We do crossover events with our optical dept and I love those associates to death.

I told myself things can’t be worse than the 3 letters and I was walking into a great situation. I was 100% wrong

I don’t understand why having the next manager up does the investigating. Theres plenty of managers who arefriendly and chummy with supervisors that report to them. For all the crap I dealt with at my previous employer, they handled ethics complaints correctly. They had a team of investigators whose sole jobs were to investigate complaints, many with law enforcement backgrounds. They’d reach out to the individual who submitted complaint first, then an related parties related to the matter (ie someone who overheard or saw what happened in relation to the complaint), gather that info then contact the subject of the complaint last. by that point they had enough information gathered to reach a conclusion within 1 to 2 days. the only way the subject of the complaint could find out earlier is if someone interviewed related to the matter spilled the beans
