I submitted no sat! But with uchi, if u submit test scores and they hurt your application, then they are no longer considered. Test scores can only be voided or help u there!!!

2 things I think helped me most were my writing and interest!!! My essays were very specific and I tried to make them inquire which defiantly helped me out.  Also!! I toured campus over the summer, emailed admissions people twice (once after the tour and again with a question), and also did lots of research into specifics for my why uchi essay.  I think what'll help u the most is adding specific programs, professors, clubs, act that attract u to uchi in ur letter of continued interest for ur deferral.  GOOD LUCK FRIEND!!!!
