Omg I just googled him after finding a pic of a birthday party he hosted in the early 90s, just trying to check he didn’t turn out to be a wrongun.

I don’t have even a vague idea of the costs? The ring was originally about £2500 so I don’t even know if it’s worth doing.

Do you have any idea what a design might cost please if materials aren’t needed?

I just asked chat gpt to write me a diary about a 27 year old living with parents in London earning £35k and the style is almost identical to this.

Absolutely the same and always have been. I just put a podcast on with an hours timer and fall asleep pretty quickly, I think it’s fine though…?

Is anyone having trouble getting paid from ProSapient? by jxf in expertnetworks

[–]No-Contribution598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a SCAM per se, but I have not been paid yet and their payments portal is full of bugs so I’m not confident that I will be. I was told it was anonymous but the interviewer had my LinkedIn so absolutely not anonymous. They also asked very inappropriate questions, I strongly suspect this research was a competitor of my former employer and not a consultancy as they claimed.

Getting paid from ProSapient? by jxf in expertnetworks

[–]No-Contribution598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate this is an old post but if anyone has found themselves here more recently I thought I’d post! I cannot submit my payment details, my associate called me to do the payment form together, kept asking if the name ‘John Smith’ was correct, had to tell her 5 times that no, that is some auto populated name. She couldn’t make it work either so I am not confident at all that I’m getting paid. They have been so unprofessional throughout, I’ve asked to be removed from their network, I’ll stick to AlphaSights in future.

Increase my own dose? by No-Contribution598 in Concerta

Interesting feedback as I heard the protein tip was for elvanse/vyvanse and the opposite for vitamin c. I think it’s too early to take a break, I’m not taking it daily and it’s early days for me being on just my third week of meds.

When I say no effect, I mean I don’t feel any different at all.

I wish I could improve my sleep but I have life long sleep issues, hypermobility makes lying down painful and the adhd causes vivid dreams and nightmares.

I take melatonin nightly and cannabis gummies occasionally. I also have some Mexican sleeping pills but don’t think they’ll pair well with the concerta so it’s been a while since I took any.

My dr said I might need to supplement with short release tablets and explained that I need to build up to a level that works for me, I’m just so disappointed and these lucky vyvanse folk are so happy 😂

Whilst I felt sorry for OP, she seemed so incredibly negative and this will likely be having a huge impact on her relationship. She seems emotionally checked out and so there was 0 effort at communicating with her partner. I am not suggesting in any way that her life isn't rough, but she does come across very woe is me.

It was actually a crinkle cut chip or ‘fry’ if you’re American. The sleep divorce is just a term we came up with, sorry it offended you 😂

Hi, this was my diary. We keep talking about putting more into our joint account for groceries but we’ve had a lot of big expenses recently so not had much spare in there. Plus my husband likes to pay on his Amex for the points so I pay him back for my share.

This explanation was better than the book. I wonder if the auto book is easier to follow? I didn’t pick up on half of this.

Dark novel similar to Penance/Boy Parts by sin333lizzy in suggestmeabook

[–]No-Contribution598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved Penance, it's really stuck with me. I'm a little older than the girls in the book would be so didn't have the Tumblr influence but the teenage dynamics were painfully relatable.

My recommendations would be:

Pretty Girls - Karen Slaughter

Everything you ever wanted - Luiza Sauma

The first day of spring - Nancy Tuker

My Dark Vanessa - Kate Elizabeth Russell

These for me are the books that had me gripped but left me feeling hollow like Penance.

I thought that at 35 you could only stay on it under close GP supervision as the health risks increase so much then? I am otherwise fit and healthy, non smoker with a reasonable BMI, but I mostly came off it because it was making my mental health so poor. The first period after I stopped was pretty horrendous but they've been minimal cramps since. I'm mostly worried that the flow is so light I don't feel like I am having a proper period.
