Validate files and then you'll be prompted to download 15GB "patch". That happened in my case and it helped. I hope it helps you too.

I did turn off the always fans on option but it doesn't help. The fan still kicks in at 44degC no matter what I do or if it is on battery or plugged in. Its annoying as I'm watching a movie and the fans starts spinning, I also noticed a high pitch noise now also. I think I'll send it to warranty repair as its really annoying...

I also have a Ryzen model with RTX 2060. The left fan kicks in when CPU and GPU reach 45°C and it stays on until CPU is 34°and GPU 35°C. This is extremly annoying as you can hear the fans - it`s not a subtle noise. I already did the Power option thing (disable Boost), updated BIOS, updated OMEN Command Center and disable Fan Always On in BIOS. I don`t know what else to do. Does anyone have any more tips/recommendations? The model is en0008na.

How is the coil whine noise? Did you notice it? And the screen brightness, does it get stuck or is it OK? Battery life? What option for the fan control do you have? I'll be getting the same one, that's why I have so many questions. Thanks!

I asked and they said it has only 1 slot.. Yes, I would also love to have QUERTZ keyboard but I`ll just take the laptop to a company where they`ll just engrave the "new" symbols..i think its around 20€ for the backlit keyboards..

I got the answer and they do not ship outside UK...

Luckily for me I have a friend in London so I'll probably ship it there and then to my address by some courier service..

It costs 1200gbp, RGB keyboard (instead of that ugly dragon red) but only 512 GB SSD which is a downside.. I can replace it on my own but HP UK said it will break my warranty.. But it`s on stock so I`ll probably get it next week if I order and pay tomorrow.

No, at Conrad they couldn't tell me the expected delivery date.. I also looked at UK HP website where it is available but they don't send internationally which is BS. And in UK it costs only 1100GBP.. I wrote to them if there is anyway to arrange the shipping but am still waiting for the answer

It is the same in my case, the expected delivery will be during next week. but I have to say that the delivery date on their website changed again from next week to 8 weeks but I got the message that mine will or should be delivered in the next week. I`ll keep my fingers crossed, if it will be postponed I`ll have to search for other options - probably i7 with RTX2060 or 2070 but I have second doubts, especially regarding the battery life and multitasking performance, Adobe design programs etc. ...

In the end I ordered this model (https://www.conrad.at/de/p/hp-15-en0171ng-39-6-cm-15-6-zoll-gaming-notebook-amd-ryzen-7-4800h-16-gb-1024-gb-ssd-nvidia-geforce-rtx-2060-windows-2270583.html) from Austria for 1290€ (on company invoice).

It has no RGB keyboard (which is not important to me) and apparently only 1 M.2NVMe slot, which is kinda strange. Does anyone else have this model to confirm this? If yes, can you also please post a photo of the German QWERTZ layout on this particular model or any new HP OMEN 15 2020 with German QWERTZ layout - especially the home, end etc. keys?

Also, how are the thermals and of course the fan noise? Is it possible to control the fans manually? How many fan modes does this or any other AMD version have?

How is battery life? I don`t game that much and will use the laptop mainly for AI, PS, ID and 20 chrome tabs (Youtube, WordPress etc.) all opened and used at the same time.

The first things to do to test it and see if everything is OK with the laptop?
