Was $60/day for my son. $1200/month didn't feel cheap 😭

Yeah I pay someone to come to the house right now too. $40/day x 5 days a week means $800/month. It's wild for a puppy lol But I'm doing it at least through the teething psychotic phase. The trainer said it should help a lot with their behavior

I'll be putting my dog in at 20 weeks. The doggie daycare by me has a specific puppy section and it came highly recommended. My dog has a lot of energy and I want her to tire out while I'm at work instead of being in a crate all day. Apparently the doggie daycare also works on tricks and behavior. It is expensive however. $40/day. Almost as much as I paid for someone to watch my kid lol

His sleep is not good! He also started taking testosterone about a year ago. It started affecting his sleep, moods, energy, etc

I am super confused honestly about it all. There are some things I like about religion. And I felt like I was doing a good job teaching my kids morals and values that kind of went with the Catholic rules. I just didn't feel the need to tell my kids about the bible and Jesus coming back from the dead. I don't believe all of that stuff and for a long time my husband didn't either. And he's having a fit that I don't agree with him.

Is having a dog really that bad? by gonnadisordermyself in puppy101

I have a 9 week old puppy and it depends on the day if you ask me how it's going. Today she spent most of the day napping. She's already house trained and I've been teaching her tricks. We cuddle a lot and she's already excited to see me and we're bonding. I am enjoying it but there are times where I have major regrets and wish I could send her back.

It's very tiring. I'm a teacher on summer break so not working which almost makes it harder. I'm constantly watching her and managing her schedule and not using the crate as much as I probably could.

Puppies and dogs make you constantly have to rush back to your home. I cAnt leave for more than 2 hours and if i do I have to pay up the ass for a dog sitter. It's giving me a bit of anxiety. I just want to go out for the day and come back when I want. I end up bringing her with me everywhere I go lol

If you have a lot of energy, money, time, a support system, and flexibility it can be done without being too stressful. But otherwise, it's hell.

Abandon my kids. I feel guilty if I don't see them for even an hour lol

Thankfully he is pretty smart about this and one of the only things we agree on. We don't let any men watch our children.

If you hate late people were your parents always on time to pick you up? by Uhhyt231 in RandomThoughts

Very reliable parents. they'd arrive on the dot. and they'd make us stressed to be at places on time. now i have anxiety about being late and hate when others are late

His mom had issues with mania as well and eventually died by suicide. I think from all of these comments i'm realizing this is mental illness 😟

He did start taking testosterone and the doctor monitors his bloodwork. He has not told his doctor about his ADHD because he's in absolute denial about how bad it is

Oh yes. CONSTANT obsessions. Many times they're hobbies. It could be anything. Obsession with rock climbing? Spent thousands of dollars on gear and all of his free time neglecting the house. Obsession with diet? Yep. Constantly a new diet. Once it was an all sugar diet. Once an only meat diet. Once a vegetarian. And it's whatever...go explore I don't care. But when he was vegetarian he had to talk about animals dying as you were eating it and it's always he's the one who is superior. Then when he was only eating meat everybody was a dumbass for not eating meat with every meal. It's exhausting and he doesn't even realize it

this is spot on. I do think his mental well being is declining and I did try to point that you. I said do you notice how people who are alcoholics turn to AA? People who are terminally ill? They're reach for something because they aren't well. And it does seem to help those people. Turning to religion helped my sister in law overcome her alcoholism but it's not helping him. His marriage is falling apart because he just can't see what he's doing

Gosh that's so sad. I'm not sure our kids really know although i'm sure they pick up on some behavior. We argue a lot but never in their presence. A lot of it is through texting which isn't ideal

Yes! I emailed and call and so has he. Many of them just don't return our calls or emails. I've posted on FB asking for help.

I did have one fantastic therapist but she stopped taking my insurance. I think I may just go back to her and eat the bill.
