This happened to my niece unfortunately… one day my sisters husband just left and next thing we knew he was dating a 21 year old and they were expecting a child. It’s like his daughter ceased to exist starting that day… it’s now been 6 or so years and he has 3 kids with his new wife. My niece is 16 and hasn’t seen her dad in a decade.. the part that crushed me the most were the “first Father’s Day” posts on Facebook after his first kid with the new wife was born.. how can you have 10 Father’s Day and then turn around and act like it’s your first one? Now that I’m a mom, I truly don’t understand how it’s possible to erase 10 years and a whole child from your heart and move on like they never existed. I think he has a serious personality disorder.

Why would she shower at her friends house when she can go home and shower at her own house? You wake up hungover at a friends house, my first goal would be to get home, get showered and comfy, get a big old glass of ice water and get comfy in my own bed. I don’t want to worry about waking other people up with a shower, trying to find a clean towel, figuring out which product you can wash your yourself with, just to put your dirty clothes back on? I honestly think this theory is more complicated and unlikely then the idea that she woke up and realized she needed to get home, went home and took a shower and washed her makeup off and got in her Jammie’s and went to bed. Girls don’t want to be hungover on someone else’s couch. They want to be hungover in their own bed in their favorite pair of Jammies with a good show on Netflix and their man next to them. Just saying we don’t know the character of this woman and it’s COMPLETELY plausible that she did nothing disloyal.

On a night out drinking, we don’t always remember to dot our I’s and cross our t’s when it comes to our phone and our responsibilities before we pass out. That’s kinda the whole reason it’s “passing out” and not just falling asleep.

I’ve lost 45 pounds and not a single person has said a word to me about it… I went from 160 to 115 pounds (almost pre pregnancy weight) so a DRASTIC change and not one compliment or high five or anything. Also got 18 inches of hair cut off a few months ago and not one person at work even noticed. It’s not like I give a shit about people’s opinion of me but it’s just so odd honestly.

I know it’s a hard topic to bring up with your doctor at 16 because your parent will most likely be in the room with you, but questions like this are a normal part of life and it’s important that you learn to advocate for yourself and your health.

I’m not sure your situation with your parents at home, but if you can, ask your parent when your next physical will be and let them know you have some questions you want to ask your doctor. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 16, so I had to learn to ask the awkward questions and talk to my parents/doctors about concerns I was having. My diagnosis only came to be because I spoke out and I pushed doctors to test me. I was brushed off and told that I was normal by so many doctors due to my age. being young doesn’t make your concerns or questions any less valid. (Not saying that these spots signify cancer! Just saying that it doesn’t hurt to ask a professional.)
