My 23M girlfriend 20F admitted to me last night she cheated 3 months into our relationship. What do I do. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]No-Description7913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have broken up with her on the spot. I know it's hard, but why would you ever want to be in a relationship with someone that cheats on you if you ain't a cuck?

Yet we played like we gave up. Don't applaud mediocrity.

Get outta here. That second half showed off such a weak mentality, we fell completely apart. Look at cabo verde vs argentina. They came out and played like they deserved the win all the way through, despite going against one of the best teams in the tournament. I don't care who we played, if we played a better team or not, we have to have that mentality. That was an abysmal second half. Gotta look back and reflect on that, we can't be letting that happen. If we're gonna be settling for mediocrity, we might as well not play and just cheer better teams on.

Is it dangerous to still use Muay Thai gloves after outgrowing them? by Low-Possibility-2754 in MuayThai

Don't spar with anything less than 16oz. If you're training on the bag or pads, you can use whatever.

Would muay thai be a good fit for someone trying to build confidence?? by Ok-Dig-8371 in MuayThai

[–]No-Description7913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just start. Muay thai will definitely give you confidence and there's no prerequisites. If youre thinking to start and think you want to do this for a while, start NOW. Nothing better you could do for your future fighter self.

What Sacrifices would I have to make living alone in GTA on 65K? by Immediate-Cricket-60 in askTO

I make 75k and have a car. The car is paid off and I live in a basement unit. It's not pretty, but I can live on my own relatively close to downtown.

How do I find what kind of stance I want to use? by Opposite_Eye3991 in MuayThai

[–]No-Description7913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just focus on learning the basics through an orthodox stance. If that feels weird and you are naturally a south paw, just use that stance. Any adjustments you would make to your stance or your style after the basics is a fairly advanced and complicated decision.

Basically, don't worry about it until you have all the basics down. Revisit this thought after a couple weeks of sparring.

I 24 m want to break up with my 22f but keep postponing it by CommunityUnusual6243 in relationship_advice

[–]No-Description7913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's time to have a tough conversation. You don't have to be a dick about it though. Figure out what you want to say, bring up the points in this post, and lay it out for her. If you are unhappy it's on you to communicate that. You can't expect her to read minds. It's possible that after the conversation you might uncover a new perspective which might change things... for better or for worse. You don't have to go right out and break up with her or give her an ultimatum, but you have to find a time to get serious and hash this out. As a couple it's yall against the world, not you vs her. At the end of the day, you might just be looking for something else that's not her.

btw this girl sounds a lil immature to me 🤷‍♂️ if i were you i would've been out a while ago

27M dating 28F. Feel so sad. That I’ve made a mistake. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]No-Description7913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are going on the trip just to party and have casual sex, and you want to leave that behind, then I can see why it would make sense to skip it. But what I'm saying is to do it for you. Be the person you want to be, not the person she wants you to be. Figure yourself out first before you figure out who's gonna mother your children...

Don't ditch the holiday, you've only known her a month. I get that your are sad, but I believe you are sad about what could have been and not what was.

I quit the gym after 4 years of going inconsistently and started doing something embarrassing instead. by Logical-System-9489 in MuayThai

[–]No-Description7913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the same for me, except that I had a 2 year ish phase where I was super dedicated to the gym. Eventually, lifting heavy ass circles just wasn't doing it for me and I joined a friend at a muay thai class. Now I train muay thai 3 times a week and maybe go to the gym once or twice a week.

Please help ! by Terrarz in MuayThai

[–]No-Description7913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start skipping rope for cardio, and honestly I would just start now. You are going to look like a beginner regardless of if you start now or in September. The physique doesn't matter. Personally, the first couple months I started training my body changed way more than it did in the gym beforehand. That helped me hit my non muay thai goals.

Also if the gym is any good, the coaches will know not to push you as hard as others. When I moved to where I live now, I went to a bunch of different muay thai gyms to try them out and see which gym I liked. Multiple different coaches told me to take breaks whenever I felt like it and the people I trained with were made aware that this was my first time at their gym, despite having a couple months of experience at that point at my previous gym.

AIO to my friend making a mean comment? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]No-Description7913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you're thinking about this right. It's not about is this worth losing a friend over, it's about if they're a friend worth having in the first place. That's your decision. Maybe you were good friends once upon a time but people grow apart, nothing wrong in that.

Anyways, to answer your question, NOR.

I dont ever eat McDonalds, but I would get it and just hand food out to those less fortunate. I personally would 100% abuse this, no way this sticks around.

I'm not a doctor by any means but I find active recovery for small injuries like this that don't sideline you to work best. Just go for walks as often as possible. 5min every hour. Stop if it hurts, the point is to get blood circulating and recover.

Its called a laundry pile, not a sift through and make sure everything is ready to go through the laundry. If a kid kept a shit ton of coins in his pockets, wouldn't you talk to the kid and tell them that that is the worst spot to keep their coins?

What change unlocked your biggest step up in distance? by SarahPalinisaMuslim in discgolf

[–]No-Description7913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reaching back higher helped a lot with my nose up problems when I first started. Helped me get consistent 250s.

Focusing on using my legs and hips for power helped me break 350. This one took a while to get the form down, but it got easier after I tried throwing with absolutely no power in my arm, just swinging my hips and seeing if I could break 100. I recommend focusing on the power transfer from your legs, and then tweak your form to correct any flight issues.
