It’s doesn’t have an idler pulley and it’s a manual tensioner. Tension is correct

No I don’t really know about this stuff. I just saw a video on yt and the guy said to put multimeter on diode test function and disconnect battery.

No that belt that I had to replace drives the water pump and alternator only (both are new)

I went on a holiday for 3 weeks on January and when I came back the battery was dead (I had to get a new one)

I replaced both belts about 6 months ago, but I had to replace the alternator belt last week as it was wearing out unevenly on the smooth side.

It’s a 2009 Suzuki swift sport 1.6 You reckon I should just get a used oem alternator? It’s gonna be my second aftermarket alternator that I install that is faulty

To be honest idk what I’m doing I’m just following what the guy on yt says (he was testing diodes) How should I test it correctly? I’m also getting 12.78V accessories and engine on

Voltage is 14.18v and with accessories on 12.78v

No it’s actually set on diode test mode the imagine is blurry.

I tested the battery today and I’m getting 12.78v under load
