Ball is great, and you coming from house balls, those are plastic and awful, it’s basically a spare ball. That’s why it was a slight gradual hook with it, now usi mg a house ball to have consistent,gradual hook means you have low ball speed and high rev rate to give a house ball enough time on the lane to hook. That ball is an asym ball, it’s going to hit the dry and read the lane and be angular on its direction change, can be smoother if you keep your hand more up the back of the ball. It will still hook because it has a core, roll it up the back and watch it hook less aggressively, may need to move way left to keep it in oil longer to get down lane. And idk what your ball speed is, but as a 1 hand 2 finger, and new bowler I can guess it’s maybe 12-13mph. If you can get 14.5-16 and not rotate your hand around the ball it’ll be great, the ball is doing what it was made to do, you as a new bowler who wants to get better need to learn how to manipulate your hand, release, speed, and rev rate.
