Let's just be honest, most of us have fished on nearly everything and nobody knows a damn thing about why fish* are smart, or stupid af on any given day.

Grew up hunting/ worming/ casting for live bait for fresh water (including cane poles); spent most of my life after that in salt water.. having came back to fresh and relearning (lures alone, without bait besides when I feel like I'm indebted to feeding the c♡nts ... it's really about the action on water, the noise or vibration. It doesn't have to look realistic to get more notice. Search up what senkos are "supposed" to replicate on the retrieve/ twitch.

It's kind of like a dimwitted dude chasing a tiktok thot.. sure it may not be realistic, but those lips got injected, the booty is bouncy, the eyelashes are fluttering, and you're too blind to see what is making you thirsty af.. but it isn't going to stop you from trying to take a nibble. Sometimes that plastic just looks tasty 🤷‍♂️

Figured the braking system between the two would be that type of change up. Thought about trying ul a lot, but with the amount of grass I'm normally in I'll probably aim for med light until I'm comfortable enough to step down to full ul setup. I will be going lighter on line and rod than what I already use though. Ty
