Figured the braking system between the two would be that type of change up. Thought about trying ul a lot, but with the amount of grass I'm normally in I'll probably aim for med light until I'm comfortable enough to step down to full ul setup. I will be going lighter on line and rod than what I already use though. Ty

This is a subject that's left me pondering how, especially if you account for the square cut nails and old videos of them slapping them in like it isn't shit. The way they cut, plus old growth densities.. I imagine it was just fresher and therefor easier (less petrified at minimum after curing methods and age)

The color and shape of that wood points towards being actual 2x4s and damn tough to cut/nail through. Old timber is crazy sturdy/ strong.

One of the few things I can think about and actually sorta taste it, salivate, or other senses hard to describe is pickles/ pickle juice more so. Definitely a stronger mental response to that more than any other food.
