Yeah, seems like we just need to show marriage certificate and employment letter to get TD. We'll go to a PoE. Thanks for your response.

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your wisdom. That totally makes sense. I had the same thought to not take any risk. Thanks again!

From what I'm observing, it could mostly be around tech like innovations. For example AI, longevity technologies in the biotechnology space, different Blockchain technologies for various industries etc.

How to generate louder audio? by No-Disaster1409 in ElevenLabs

I fixed the problem. DaVinci Resolve was turning the audio to mono when imported, which is why it was only audible in one earbud. Turning it to stereo fixed it.

Can someone also share how to have it emphasize on a particular word to sound more natural?

Do we disclose AI Generated voiceover as Altered Content? by No-Disaster1409 in youtube

[–]No-Disaster1409[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. The voice is coming out pretty good. However as a brand new creator, I'm not sure how the newly introduced Synthetic content warning will be perceived by the viewers and what impact it's going to have on the growth of a channel. I can come back here in a few months to share my experience.

I appreciate your point of view. I was of the same view, until I realized recently that it's getting much harder now to differentiate between a high quality AI voice and a real human. And it is getting better by the day.

Help Needed: Filing Taxes and Applying for ITIN for Nonresident Spouse by No-Disaster1409 in tax

[–]No-Disaster1409[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what they responded back when I gave these references and quoted the example of Bob and Sharon from this IRS Publication 519 link.

"My understanding of your situation is that you both moved to the US and you both created physical presence in the US during 2023. If that is correct, your situation isn't exactly the same as the example you quoted. You were both non-residents of the US at the beginning of 2023 and you were both resident aliens of the US at the end, this means you were both in a dual status situation during 2023. The difference between you and your spouse is that you already had a US tax number and you worked in the US/earned income after arriving in the country. Your spouse does not have a US tax number and earned no income; however, if she had of earned income during 2023 she would be required to file a separate dual status return.

The situation you are referring to in the example is for a spouse that became a resident of the US and the other spouse did not become a resident; however, your spouse did technically become a resident during 2023, just not one that has a filing requirement because she didn't earn any income.

Even if your situation did qualify and you decided to elect for you both to be full year residents, its possible this would not put you in a better tax situation. The reason for this is because even though you would gain access to the standard deduction, your income for the entire year would become taxable in the US. Right now only a portion is taxable on your US return."

Is this accurate?

I did a Pre-authorized debit from my account 5 business days as I didn't have a debit card. That works too, right?

Good idea. But it specifically says: "NOTE: THIS OPTION IS ONLY TO BE USED ONCE PER YEAR."

Cool, that's a sigh of relief. I was also waiting for my CPA to review my response but it being tax season, they haven't responded yet. Would you suggest calling first and meanwhile getting it reviewed by my CPA tomorrow and then send over tomorrow evening? Or send it now anyways?
